In February 2024 Facebook reduced pay to creators, and our income dropped 75% overnight. At the same time, we were forced to leave our home, downsize drastically, and move back to Michigan while continuing to navigate Ana's complex medical care, rising insurance costs, and more recently unexpected surgery expenses. We have been fighting to stay afloat and work our way out of the debt that built up during that transition.
