Honestly, when Sharon told me she was doing it I never thought it would go past $3k for the van, but you all have made such a HUGE difference in our lives — not only financially, but in the mental and emotional energy around here too. For the past 2-3 years, it's felt like we’ve been facing some kind of otherworldly resistance at every turn. Every time we thought we were moving forward and making progress, something major would knock us back. At one point, I had lost all hope that we’d ever get out of the hole we were in. But because of your generosity, we’ve been able to jump ahead by what feels like a year’s worth of progress. That shift has given us hope again — hope that we can recover from the struggles of the past two years without it costing Ana’s next ten. That is priceless. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for always helping me continue to give Ana the best care possible. By your presence, by your engagement, by your love, by your help, by your generosity no matter what it's been, so many of you have pulled together to help me move mountains for her that I never could have done on my own. Looking ahead, Ana’s medical travel is coming up soon. We’ve set aside $2,000 from the GoFundMe to cover the trip down and some lodging while we’re there. We’ll also be putting together a special merch line connected to the trip as it gets closer. Anything that still comes into the GoFundMe before Sharon closes it, and anything raised from that merch line, will go directly toward the travel and making sure home is covered while we’re away.
